Financial Aid

At Trinity, we understand the financial commitment a family makes when they choose private education. We are dedicated to assisting need-based families with financial assistance. Trinity’s goal is to partner with families in meeting this lifetime investment in the student’s lives. Therefore, a limited amount of financial assistance is available to qualifying applicants.

Trinity uses an independent company, Blackbaud Financial Aid Management (BFAM), which provides Trinity with a confidential financial needs report. This report assists the Financial Aid Committee in determining the amount of tuition assistance. Typical financial aid ranges from $250-$3,000 per student per year. Financial aid is applied to the yearly tuition and is not applied to fees. Please see the BFAM FAQs sheet for detailed information: View FAQs.

Most of the financial aid is provided through donations to our Student Financial Aide Organization, GOAL. Through this program, Georgia taxpayers can redirect Georgia income tax dollars to eligible Georgia private schools. GOAL awards are available to families who qualify. To review the requirements for GOAL eligibility, please visit www.goalscholarship.org.

The state of Georgia has the following defined parameters as to who is eligible to receive an SSO scholarship:

  • A student who is eligible to enroll in a qualified (public) Pre-K (K4), kindergarten (K5), or 1st grade program.

  • A student must be a Georgia resident who is currently enrolled in and is attending a Georgia public school.

  • A student was enrolled in an official homeschool program for at least one year. The Intent to Homeschool documentation is required.

  • Applicants are to complete the BFAM Grant & Aid Assessment form at https://smartaidforparents.com. The Trinity Christian School ID is 14919.

  • Please specify which campus you are applying for. Only one application per family.

  • All requested forms must be submitted to BFAM before an application will be considered. In-progress applications will not be reviewed.

  • The TCS Financial Aid Committee will meet to evaluate the applications received from BFAM.

  • Approval or denial email notification will be sent to all applicants.

  • GOAL recipients are not to start school until the GOAL award process is complete and approved. This is a GOAL policy.

BFAM financial aid applications will be available beginning March 1.

Applications, along with all supporting documentation, should be submitted no later than June 15. Applications can be submitted to BFAM after June 15, but the majority of the funds are awarded in the summer.

Tuition assistance is awarded based on financial need and the availability of funds. The completion of the financial aid application is not a binding agreement that assistance is available or will be granted. Applicants who receive financial aid must apply for financial aid each year.

If you have questions about the BFAM application process, please contact a BFAM representative at 1 (800) 360-8027 or financialaidsupport@blackbaud.school.
