Welcome Back, Lions!

The countdown to a new school year has begun, and we can’t wait to see our students back on campus.

To kick things off, we’ve planned a series of special events to bring our Trinity families together and celebrate the return to school.

In the three days leading up to the first week of school, you’ll have several opportunities to:

• Reconnect with friends and meet new families

• Get to know our faculty and staff

• Celebrate the start of another exciting year at Trinity

MONDAY, AUGUST 4TH

MEET MY TEACHER DAY

Classroom visits and school supply drop-offs

(Staggered visiting schedules by last name)

• 9:30 - 11:30am - A - L

• 1:30 - 3:30pm - M - Z

What to do: Meet your child’s teachers, visit the classroom, drop off school supplies, pick up car line tags, and Lions Swap.

Lions Swap: Uniform & Spiritwear shop located in the Gym on Main Campus from 9:30am - 3:30pm.

What to wear: TCS Spiritwear or School Uniform
What to bring: School supplies.

Any student medications for our nurses to keep on hand during the school year can be turned in to the nurses offices. Please place in a clear ziplock bag labeled with your child’s first and last name and grade.

TUESDAY, AUGUST 5TH

FIRST OFFICIAL DAY OF SCHOOL

1st - 8th grade classes start at 8:00am

PreK and Kindergarten starts at 8:15am

(Drop off as early as 7:00am

at TCS Main & GO Church)

High School starts at 8:15am

(HS Schedules open August 1st)

(HS Building opens daily at 7:30am)

What to wear: TCS Spirit Wear or School Uniform

What to bring: Backpack

WELCOME TO THE ROAR

Social Gathering for ALL Families (5:30 - 7:00pm, The Gathering Place)

• Will take place prior to the varsity football game that evening.

What to do: Enjoy inflatables, visit resource tent, socialize, meet other families and school staff, and have fun.

What to wear: TCS Spiritwear

DATE: Friday, August 22, 5:30 - 7:00 p.m.

LOCATION: RELOCATED to the Gymnasium (Assembly) and The Gathering Place Atrium and Dining Area - Sharpsburg Main Campus

WHO SHOULD ATTEND?

• This event has been set aside for first-time families at Trinity as you navigate how to get plugged into the TCS community.

SCHEDULE:

• 5:30 p.m. - Kick-off Assembly for New TCS Families

  • Welcome from our Administrators

  • Learn how to get involved and connect at Trinity

• 6:00 to 7:00 p.m. – Social Time

  • Meet other new families and TCS staff

  • Explore our Resource Area for information on clubs, Performing Arts, and more

  • Inflatables and games for kids

  • Complimentary game day refreshments

  7:00 p.m. – Varsity Football Game

  • Walk over to Lions Stadium and enjoy the full Friday Night Lights experience
