TCS Annual Fund

Trinity Christian School is here because of the generosity of people just like you!

All are aware that success is not achieved alone. Over the years, countless individuals have supported and helped TCS by praying, lending a hand when one person was not enough, and giving generously. God has touched the hearts of students, parents, alumni, and those in the community, to join together and support the mission of Trinity Christian School.

Your financial contributions help realize the vital mission of TCS while providing the resources to maintain an excellent Christian education. Whether you are donating to the TCS Annual Fund, Georgia Goal, Build Across the Generations Project or donate to the scholarship fund we are very grateful for your generosity and support. Rest assured, your donation will be carefully stewarded to maximize its impact in the lives of the students and families we serve.

Ways to give to TCS

TCS Annual Fund

Tuition alone does not cover the entire cost to educate our students. Additional resources are needed for Trinity Christian School to excel in providing an excellent Christ centered education. For this reason, our TCS Annual Fund was created to provide critical financial support that will directly impact TCS students, teachers and the TCS mission. Examples include opportunities that create a positive learning environment, campus safety, classroom technology, spiritual formation, faculty appreciation and advanced teaching practices.

All gifts will be acknowledged with a receipt and are 100% tax deductible.

Georgia Goal Scholarship Program

Through Georgia’s Education Expense Credit, the GOAL Scholarship Program allows taxpayers to play a vital role in improving K-12 educational opportunities. This is a win-win-win for taxpayer donors, scholarship recipients, and Trinity Christian community. This valuable Georgia law has been provided to us by our state legislators. In 2018, the Georgia legislature nearly doubled the available tax credits, alleviating the “oversubscription” problem of past years. In 2019, applications will very likely be approved for an amount of 90 percent and above.

Tax Credit Limits Based on Filing Status

  • Single individual or head of household – up to $1,000
  • Married couple filing a joint return – up to $2,500
  • Married couple filing a separate return – up to $1,250
  • S corporation shareholder, LLC member, or partnership partner – up to $10,000
  • C corporation or Trust – up to 75% of annual Georgia income tax liability

How to Contribute & Take the Tax Credit

  1. Apply beginning now through December 2018
The 2019 GOAL Tax Credit Application

On the first business day of January 2019, GOAL submits your application to the Georgia Department of Revenue (DOR).

  1. Approved to Contribute
GOAL and DOR notify you of tax credit approval and amount in early January 2019.

  1. Make Payment
Pay GOAL by check or credit card within 60 days of DOR approval (mid-March 2019).

  1. Take the Credit
In May, GOAL will send you a Form IT-QEE-SSO1 (tax receipt) for claiming the credit on your 2019 Georgia income tax return (Note: you will take the credit when you file your 2019 taxes in April of 2020).

Build Across the Generations Project

Trinity is lacking in outdoor facilities for physical education, football, soccer, lacrosse practice and games, along with a GHSA standard running track.

Because of our limited space on the Trinity campus, a synthetic turf field would be more cost effective to maintain, it would be safer for the students to use, and would allow the physical education classes and athletic programs to use the field more often and for longer periods of time.

Additionally, due to the track condition TCS is unable to host track meets.  By resurfacing and upgrading our running track, we will be able to encourage greater participation from students, host area track meets, and provide a safe running and training surface.

The Trinity Christian Build Across The Generations Project will include:

  • An all-weather synthetic athletic field for physical education classes, football, soccer and lacrosse practice and games
  • New rubberized eight lane running track and redesigned field events locations

Scholarship Fund

Your donation to Trinity Christian School’s unrestricted scholarship fund are not only tax-deductible for the donor, they are investments in the lives of students who might not have access to a quality Christian education without the financial assistance these funds provide.
