Financial Aid

Trinity Christian School is committed to providing a Christ-centered quality education and instilling godly character in each child that walks through our doors.  We understand the financial commitment that a family makes when they choose private education.  Trinity’s goal is to partner with families in meeting this lifetime investment in the student’s lives.  Therefore, a limited amount of financial assistance is available to qualifying applicants.

Financial Aid recommendations are made by FACTS “Grant & Aid Assessment,” an independent company which provides Trinity with a confidential financial needs report. This report assists the Scholarship Committee in determining the amount of tuition assistance granted.  Assistance covers UP TO 50% of tuition and does not cover any fees.  Financial aid is not offered to PreK students.

Currently, the majority of financial aid available to students is provided through donations to our Student Scholarship Organization, GOAL. Through this program, Georgia taxpayers can redirect Georgia income tax dollars to eligible Georgia private schools.  The state of Georgia has defined parameters as to who is eligible to receive an SSO scholarship:

  • Students eligible to enroll in a GA qualified (public) kindergarten and 1st grade program
  • Students who are currently enrolled at a GA public school (TCS requires that a student must have attended at least one full semester of public school in order to be considered eligible.)
  • Charter school students

Our desire is to have financial aid available to all families with financial need.  Trinity Christian School welcomes donations of any amount to our unrestricted scholarship fund.  Please click on the Scholarship Donations tab to learn more about our scholarship programs.  You can also click on the “Support Trinity” link at the top of this page to make an on-line donation to the TCS scholarhsip fund.  Your gift would be a tax-deductible contribution and would make a tremendous impact on a student’s life.

Procedures

  • The online admissions application and application fee must be submitted prior to submitting an application for financial aid.
  • Applicants are to complete the FACTS “Grant & Aid Assessment” form at FACTS Tuition Aid.  Only one form needs to be completed per family.
  • The TCS Scholarship Committee will meet to evaluate the financial need and amount of aid to be awarded to all verified applications received from FACTS.
  • Letters confirming decisions on financial aid will be mailed to applicants.
  • All requested forms must be submitted to FACTS before an application can be considered.  The following information is required in order for FACTS to process your application:
    • Completed online application to FACTS
    • Online payment of $30 application fee to FACTS
    • Copies of your past year’s tax return
    • Copies of your past year’s W-2’s for both you and your spouse
    • Copies of supporting documentation for any other income

Financial aid applications must be submitted to FACTS, along with all supporting documentation, no later than April 15.  Applications can be submitted to FACTS after that date, but the majority of funds are awarded in the spring.

If you have questions or concerns about the FACTS application process, you may speak with a FACTS Customer Care Represenative at 1.866.315.9262.

Tuition assistance is awarded based on financial need and the availability of funds.  The completion of the financial assistance application is not a binding agreement that assistance is available or will be granted.  Applicants who receive financial aid must apply for financial aid each year.
